Midlands Engineering Firm Recognised In The Sunday Times Best Companies To Work ForMember News
A Birmingham headquartered engineering firm is celebrating achieving its second consecutive Best Companies 1* accreditation recognising its outstanding levels of employee engagement.
The adi Group, which is headquartered in Kings Norton and has 12 regional sites across the UK and Ireland, was awarded for its high Best Companies Index score from the Best Companies survey, which measures how engaged people are at work and how they feel about their employer.
The Sunday Times Best Company programme looks closely at a company’ approach to employee wellbeing, leadership, personal growth, management, community engagement, teamwork, fair deals and the business as a whole, using staff feedback to gain insights. The Group, which has a workforce of over 600 employees, saw increased response rates with its leadership, responsible business initiatives and employee benefits each scoring highly.
Alan Lusty, Chief Executive Officer at adi Group said, “We are extremely proud to have achieved a Best Companies Accreditation for the second year running. We take great care to continuously improve all areas of our business for our employees and to see our overall scores improve in the core focus areas we targeted last year shows that we are moving in the right direction.”
“We will continue to strive for innovative ways to make our processes and infrastructure as sustainable and resilient as possible and will be reviewing the scores in each area to determine our focal points for 2019 across the business.”
Jonathan Austin, CEO & Founder of Best Companies added “I would like to congratulate adi Group on its achievement. Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Organisations like adi Group have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a best company to work for.”
The Group joined companies across the UK for #BestCompaniesDay on Friday 1 March to celebrate its employee engagement accolade.
