A charitable company in Birmingham has raised over £20,000 in three years for a local heart charity and wants to raise even more.
adi Group, who provide a one-stop shop for engineering services across the UK, has supported Heart Research UK since 2015 by hosting numerous fundraising events including raffles, dress down days, cake bakes and football tournaments.
They recently got into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas jumpers and also held a raffle at their circus themed Christmas party, hosted at The ICC. The event with over 400 of the Companys employees and partners in attendance, raffled more than 20 prizes including a seven night holiday in Cyprus raising over £2,000.
Claire Frays, Communications Officer at adi Group said: Weve always had the most fun raising money for Heart Research UK. Its why were so excited and pleased to say Heart Research UK will be our charity partner next year too.
Heart Research UK Head Office, based in Leeds, has spent over £24m over the last 50 years to support medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.
In 2007, Heart Research UK in the Midlands opened in Birmingham to further help local projects across the Midlands.
John Lloyd, Regional Executive at Heart Research UK in the Midlands, said: Were thrilled that adi Group has announced Heart Research UK as their charity partner for another year.
Theyve raised an incredible amount of money already, through such unique and innovative ways. We look forward to seeing what exciting fundraising ideas they have planned for the future.
