adi Group Shortlisted in Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Business Awards 2016

Engineering solutions firm, adi Group, has been shortlisted in the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Business Awards 2016 for Excellence in the Community.

The Group, headquartered in Kings Norton, has a strong commitment to corporate and social responsibility through its ‘Engineering a Better Future’ programme. Community is one of four key areas within the programme which comprises community engagement, educational and social enterprise partnerships, as well as local employment opportunities.

The programmes initiatives include the company’s investment in youth talent development through its Apprentice Academy which launched in 2014. Externally, adi has a long standing commitment to the Business in the Community (BITC) Ready for Work programme, having provided work placements for around 80 individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds over the last ten years. The Group has also forged valuable partnerships with local schools, and was recently recognised for its work with North Bromsgrove School at the CBI West Midlands Education and Skills Conference.
