Birmingham based engineering solutions firm, adi Group, received recognition at the Midlands Regional EEF Future Manufacturing Awards. The Awards now in their ninth year are the most established and respected regional and national recognition of manufacturing success.
adi was announced as the runner-up in the Partnership With Education category, which recognises the company that has done the most to promote engineering and manufacturing careers through activities within the community and in partnership with education providers.
The event, hosted in Nottingham, brought together hundreds of manufacturers and engineering firms for the Midlands Regional awards ceremony. The regional finalists in each category were chosen from hundreds of high-quality entries by an industry-led, independent judging panel.
James Sopwith, Group Strategic Account Director said, "We are delighted to have achieved the runner-up accolade for Partnership With Education. It was fantastic to see our Apprentice Academy and Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes and our work through Business In the Community recognised by the manufacturing industry."
"We're extremely proud of our ongoing work in inspiring the next generation of engineers as part of our corporate social responsibility programmes and look forward to continuing to play our part in promoting the lucrative opportunities for young people within the sector."
